We recently purchased a pair of Silicom cards for use in a redBorder IDS system. They're fiber though... We haven't had any problems with the cards and the vendor was quite responsive.

Hi All, We've been currently using Intel X520 cards for most of our fiber based DNA operations but have recently ran into problems around the flexibility of these solutions when using copper SFP's. I see PF_RING supports "Silicom" cards, has anyone any experience of these (what is European availability like)? Are there any other cards we should look at? We need cards that support 1/10Gb SR/LR but can also handle copper SFP modules (Intel "do" support them but only at 1000BASE-T, meaning they don't auto negotiate or 10/100 operations) Many thanks, James _______________________________________________ Ntop-misc mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-misc _______________________________________________ Ntop-misc mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-misc
