Yuri,
Ok, I will recap in one list here my steps and the state it is in at
current:
download and extract
cd PF_RING-6.0.3/userland/lib
./configure && make
cd PF_RING-6.0.3/kernel
./configure
sudo make -f Makefile.dkms deb
sudo dpkg -i /var/lib/dkms/pfring/6.0.3/deb/pfring-dkms_6.0.3_all.deb
After this, I'm only seeing the /usr/lib/libpfring.so file but not the
/usr/local/include/libpfring.h, /usr/local/lib/libpfring.a, or
/usr/local/lib/libpfring and this is where the compile for Suricata fails.
Have I missed any steps here or should I be doing this in a different
order? I also tried the ./configure && make in the PF_RING/package/ubuntu
folder but it says there are files missing so I aborted that.
