Is there a way to limit the bandwidth scope of the "Host Information" page (hostsInfo.html) to a finer granularity?
I'm looking for a quick way to figure out which systems on my LAN are actively consuming bandwidth, ranked by consumption over a specifiable period of time like the last 10 minutes, 30 minutes, hour, etc. The closest I can get is http://ntop/hostsInfo.html which has a broad granularity based on the somewhat-arbitrary "age/inactivity" field. To track down a local system consuming the majority of the bandwidth, I have to use click on each of the top hosts, scroll to "Host Traffic Stats" on the resulting page, and see if the "Tot. Traffic Rcvd" column has a high number in its top row. There's also http://ntop/dataHostTraffic.html?col=99&showH=1&showL=2 but activity is expressed as a percentage per host rather than a percentage of total traffic. _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
