You may explorate to use nprobe and store all flow in a sql table. then you can run some sql report to get your data.

Folks,

I need some advice on how to proceed with NTOP. But rather than me stating
what I think
might work, allow me to present the requirement and the community can advise me
of the
best way to proceed.

I need to accomplish two things. #1 is to identify and record source and
destination IP
address and port numbers. The idea is to identify, track and report on "Who is
talking to
who". This needs to be longer term storage and not "time out" as is the
pattern of RRD
databases. I also need to export the data to spreadsheet for analaysis.

#2 is the need to gather the data and group it so that I can create an estimate
of bandwidth
requirments after consolidating two or more sites into a single location.

Thoughts? Comments? Advice?

Thanks in advance.
