Thanks Jeremy for that answer. After reading it, I tcpdump the interface of the web browser (Safari in my case) I use to connect to ntopng on tcp/3000 and I found that it is the browser that need the Internet connection, isn’t it ? because I saw a few ssl (tcp/443) connection with Google server to fetch the map api information. So, my understanding now is that the server where run ntopng doesn’t Internet connection to work properly with geoip but the client browser does. Does that make sens ? -- Wayne
