Sorry to bump this Luca but I know that there are a few of us in the Ubiquiti Community that would like to try a native nprobe on the Edgerouter. It's a Linux Debian This said, do not think nProbe as a flow converter but imagine it as a better probe. Standard probes export only info based on packet headers, whereas nprobe can give you great visibility for URLs, application protocols (nDPI) and much more.
