It appears I may have the bull by the horns here ..... after a poke around
in the ntop-current version I have, I discovered the "Admin" area which 
looks something like its supposed to superceed the older .ntop style
user authentication. 

A few lines of explanation about how to setup accounts etc would help
considerably though ...... how to actually configure password access to
the ntop page is not easy to see.
