OK, I upgraded GCC from 2.9.5 to 3.3 and used gmake instead of
"make". Resolved the unknown flag error with "suppress". Also
one of the plugins had to do exactly the same INET6 trick I did
in ntop.h and the in6_addr was being defined a second time. So I
had to turn off that switch.

Also the ntop was complaining that rrdPlugin had unresolved
symbol during startup:

I do get 1 error when executing ntop:
Wed Apr 7 09:27:14 2004 **WARNING** Unable to load plugin
'./plugins/rrdPlugin.so'
Wed Apr 7 09:27:14 2004 **WARNING** Message is '55985718:ntop:
rld: Fatal Error: unresolvable symbol in ./plugins/rrdPlugin.so:
isinf'

The symbol is GCC linker specific, something it inserts/relies
on. I upgraded the glib as well, but still couldn't find the
symbol. So I just added a stub function "int isinf() { return
0; }" in one of the files and the plugin loads now.

Ntop startus and I can see all the plugins.

I wasn't planning on taking everything this far, but what the
hell.

Cheers,
mark...
