I will look at my config to refresh myself. It worked pretty easily though from what I remember.
Make sure the plugin is "Active". Even if you configure it and it looks active, it may not be. Try a couple things: 1.) From the nTop "menu", Plugins>All. URL should be http(s)://yourhost:yourport/showPlugins.html. 2.) from command line run" netstat -a. Look for udp port 2055 listening - or whatever port you have configured for netflow. Gary >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 10/16/2006 1:32 PM >>> I have the router configured to send netflows to my ntop box. I have created a netflow device to the best of my knowledge - and then changed lots of things about it - but have not actually gotten any flows as yet. I have a unique setup here, I know, because of the different things I'm running along side NTop - but some help in where to begin looking would be appreciated. The logs, through the web interface, don't tell me a whole lot. Through syslog it looks like it starts okay but then there's an "RRF: Cycle 829 ended" message followed by a bunch of "RRD: rrd_graph() call failed, rc -1, can't make a graph without contents" messages... Looking under /Summary/NetFlows shows a small graph with nothing in it (all zeros). /Plugins/NetFlow/Statistics says "No Data To Display (yet)"... What else can I look for? I started NTop without specifying a NIC. I'm not sure what to put for the IP address of the virtual netflow device (I've tried the router, the NIC, the network...). Thanks for the help in advance. _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop =========================================================================== "This email is intended to be reviewed by only the intended recipient and may contain information that is privileged and/or confidential.
