Try disabling rrd first, and then all other plugins. I've had segfault issues and am pretty confident they are related to rrd - or at least the majority of them.
Other than that - not sure if I can help much. Maybe check out line 6551 in util.c (and adjacent lines) and see what that block of code is trying to do. I only know a LITTLE programming and C is not my strong area, so I need help making sense of a lot of this as well.
