Appreciate your response Kent,

The second drive has no trouble becoming "dynamic",

The first drive (where MBR etc are located), fail to boot after I convert it
to "dynamic".

How can the the drive be "dynamic" w/o first installing the OS.


BTW - (Hardware raid is not in the pocketbook for the rest of the fiscal
year.)
