It isn't clear to me if you are running both Backup Exec and SQL
on the same box. If not then make sure you have the Enterprise Manager
installed on your Backup Exec box, without it you cannot backup the SQL
server.

I'm trying to backup a w2k box with sql 7 and be 8.6 and I can't select
anything to backup. All the options in MS SQL Server are grayed out. I
already have the user with permissions to backup the db. It's the same
