I wasn't keen. It was loaded with stuff you didn't seem to need, it insisted on installing IIS on servers (unless they were NT4 upgrades), it felt bloated and a bit inflexible.
Granted, AD was a big step, but 2003 made it much better. I think I only did one NT4 --> 2000 AD upgrade. Everyone else I supported hung on for 2003. Still, I'll concede it wasn't anywhere near as pants as Vista. But I just didn't like it at all. It felt like XP was much better, and the fact that XP followed so hot on its heels didn't really do it much favours, I suppose.
