We tried, several years back. It turned out it was a pile of sh*t. (We installed it for testing and it corrupted two other HP print drivers on our server. And that's just for starters.) HP's tech support was worthless when they didn't just refuse to help. This seems to be par for any HP printer driver or printer support since circa 2007. Now, since then, HP's prolly rewritten the driver completely at least twice, so the problem we had are likely not your problems. (Other than the overall problem of having HP print drivers.) We eventually ended up hacking up the PCL 5 driver that came with Win XP into a generic printer driver, and using that with almost all of our LaserJets. And we stopped buying HP printers. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
