I don't work for a school using your product but I do know of at least one instance where the school admin was refusing to make any changes beyond Netware 3.1. She still had a bunch of Win 98 and Win 2000 machines she was using in production. She told me that any upgrade to using AD would be after she was gone and then only if someone knew enough to figure out how to do it. She was not in a paid position so no one was willing to push this issue. I last talked to her 4 years ago and to my knowledge she was still there. They still have most of the same machines in production she had at the time. (I talked to a teacher that works at the school and she was really disappointed that the new administration was not willing to get machines updated to use newer software. They still did not have Internet to more than one machine in each classroom and that was supposed to be for the teacher only!)
I suspect you will see some of your schools in the same boat.
