Not just promote it.. it will install as a new domain.
SBS is not a good option for an application server. Also you cannot use Terminal Services on an SBS server (except for the 2 admin sessions). Bob Fronk From: Joseph L. As for the rest of SBS' bundled apps (in Standard edition, that's Exchange and WSS), they're installed by default, but you can of course disable the services or just ignore them. Because of the remote devices, WinXP will have its 10 connection limit exceeded, As SBS is cheaper (price sensitive shop) can I install *just* the OS without the bloatware or does it come bundled during installation with all that crap?
