I've found that your only real defense against stuff like this is
through written policies.

You have them sign off on something saying they won't forward emails...
or whatever the case is.

Then - when they don't follow the policy, simply fire them.

You're right. There is only so much you can do to correct behavioral
problems. It is impossible to control every

aspect of email. If they really want to save a copy of an email they can
cut & paste or print.

Nor does it look like it will solve your "behavioral" problem.

If they really want to forward an email, they will.

Also, I don't believe this even addresses your Blackberry concern.

Sounds like this is a behavior problem.

With DRM, I believe you can stop from forwarding, but you can't stop
them from select/copy/paste into a new message.

Or taking a screenshot (alt + print screen) and pasting a new message.

Is there a way to restrict user groups from forwarding email? We have a
group of users we want to restrict from forwarding email,

especially from their Blackberry's. Exchange Server's are Windows 2003
R2 and Exchange 2003.
