Are you backing up to disk? I believe you have to be backing up to disk in order to use CPS and maybe that is why the option is greyed out?! Russ Clark

I am not using CPS, but I swore I had a license for it... This is my license: "SYMC BACKUP EXEC 11D WIN WITH CONTINUOUS PROTECTION SERVER STD LIC EXPRESS BAND S" Looks like CPS to me... Yea, it's weird...and I don't see where you can purchase it as an option at Symantec or CDW. So I take it you're not using CPS Sam? If anyone else is, I would sure like some opinions. Thanks again, all... Huh, it's grayed out for me too. And I thought we had a license... However, I can select the CPS options when I go to create a new Backup Job. (Ie - Exchange Backup) I'm not too familiar with CPS, but I was just curious myself if I could see it. I'm hoping to avoid the pain of that experience so I have my fingers crossed that someone here may have the answer... I have BUE 12 and I'm trying to get Continuous Protection Server to work but the option is grayed out in the Tools menu. I've searched in the Symantec Knowledge base but no help. Has anyone seen this and know a solution? Is CPS a pay-for option? Thanks in advance! Bill Lambert Windows System Administrator Concuity A healthcare division of Trintech, Inc.
