And the drivers are installable via logon scripts and the add new
printer wizard? (ie it takes the drivers from the server the printer is
installed on) ?

I just bought a HP LaserJet M3027. It's off the hook sweet and my users
lurve it!
I'm not sure about scan to network folder, but it will scan everywhere
else.

Subject: SMB MFP recommendation

Hi chaps,

Can anyone recommend an MFP, either laser or inkjet, that has the
following
two features;

1) The printer drivers need to be able to support Windows 2003 and allow
for
us to setup the printer on the server and people to find it (and
automatically install the drivers) via 'Find in the directory'. It will
also
be installed via a logon script in some cases.
2) Has some kind of scan to network folder feature.

I like the HP Officejet Pro range of inkjets which would be suitable,
but HP
drivers are a nightmare and that range doesn't seem to support sharing
the
printer on the server without manually installing the drivers on all the
machine (and do the drivers need to be quite so large HP?), though they
do
have a great scan feature which includes direct scanning to a network
folder.

Any other suggestions ?

Olly
