Well, it did install. But you are correct. Had this been a production
machine I would never had done that given the Vista name of the hotfix.

Now I can try out SnapDrive on W2K8.

Well I guess that makes sense, but they should clarify in their download
options if that is true as there is a major assumption that everyone will
put that together. I know little about WS08 as of yet, but I wouldn't think
to download, let alone install, any patch that didn't match my OS type on
the download information.

Oh you guys.

Vista sp1 and Server 2008 are the same thing.

The Vista hotfix installs on Server 2008.

OK, Am I totally blind or are the Windows 2008 ones missing?

Sure there is. It's at the very top of the hotfix page. See where it says
"Hotfix Download Available"?

That's what I get. So then I go to the KB
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950927/en-us

And there is no way to request it.

Yeah, looks like they changed it. This is what I get--

https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/emailcontact.aspx?scid=sw;en;1410

States that you need to click the link in the KB that has the hotfix you
want. I'm guessing if that's not available you would have to call.

Does anyone know what happened to this? It appears to be gone.
