I always wonder about start up scans...if the pc doesn't have a virus
when it is shut down, then why enable start up scans. Waste of time if

Unlike Symantec v.10.  Every morning when the startup scan kicks off, my
users machines bog down tremendously, for 30-45 minutes, until that darn
scan is completed.
