We use its predecessor MIIS and before that we used MMS with several different stores although not eDirectory..
Both ILM and MIIS have connectivity to a variety of directories including eDirectory, Netscape/iPlanet/SunONE, eTrust, Tivoli etc etc. Don't really know the pros and cons of your choice but FWIW, having attended DEC for several years, I just don't hear any of the IdM guys talking much about Novell...
