we got somebody out here do to a survey some time back and in his opinion a 3rd
party antenna was causing some interference and really there was nothing we
could do. However the all other company's on either side of us don't have this
problem. So now I have to go and get this setup again trying to avoid both
Linksys and possibly 3Com but now spending the money on Cisco or any other high
end products - incase we have the same issue.

I think I'd figure out what the problem was with the others. Something tells
me that you've probably got quite a bit of interference. Perhaps a true
wireless survey is in order? Sometimes those will pay back in dividends...

That's the thing - they wont fork out that amount of money for some high end
Cisco Wap's when there is a possibilty that it will not work.
Id say I'm looking at about 2K to roll this out..
So I need something at the lower end of the scale that is some way reliable.

Cisco all the way, baby!

Be warned that you REALLY pay for it, but if you can find a reputable reseller
of used you can get a 1231G for much less than a new 1240 series or 1250 series
AP.
