I've done this and as others have said, the only order to install the OS's is XP, Vista, Ubuntu. If you install Vista first than XP won't recognize the Vista partition and if you install Ubuntu before either Microsoft product then you won't be able to boot into Ubuntu because Microsoft takes over the MBR.
