I don't use ADmitMac, and at this time it's cost prohibitive. I unbound one Mac from the domain and now cannot rejoin it. It gives me the invalid forest/domain entered which just means it can't see the server.
I tried resetting the machine account on another Mac, but the server reports it's not currently joined to the domain. Interesting as the name shows up in AD where it's been for the last two years. The only change I've made recently was to tighten up the DHCP pool which did force a few machines to new IP's, but as I said, DNS is working. Although I can see other clients in the Finder list, I cannot see the server itself. It's as if the server suddenly doesn't like Macs. -- Mike Gill -----Original Message----- From: Micheal Espinola Jr [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2008 11:22 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: OSX machines suddenly can't connect to Win2003 PDC I meant to add: I use ADmitMac from Thursby Software for domain participation for my Macs. I have not experienced any oddities with them since applying MS08-067. -- ME2 ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
