I will second that, I typically use Dell for clients, but I use and recommended them for my own stuff.
They have been rock solid every time and easily configurable/upgradable. Also, their dual 1u server is the best! On the esx hcl too -----Original Message----- From: Martin Blackstone [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 28, 2008 20:12 To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: Server Suppliers SuperMicro is a great "non brand" name. Many of the appliance systems you buy today run on SuperMicro. http://www.supermicro.com/ I usually purchase them from Servers Direct. They very helpful and are more than willing to build any configuration you want. Im sure you could find a Super Micro vendor in Canada. -----Original Message----- From: Shawn Everett [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 28, 2008 4:51 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Server Suppliers Hi Guys, I'm in the process of evaluating non name brand servers and wonder if anyone can recommend a good supplier. By non name brand I mean not Dell, HP or IBM. I would prefer a Canadian supplier and someone who can offer a reasonable range of configuration options if possible.
