You can set the LAN adapter to a higher priority than the wireless adapter. Go to the TCP/IP settings on your NIC. On the general tab click advanced. You need to uncheck the "Automatic Metric" and enter a number in the "Metric Interface" Its been a long time since I have done this but I believe the lower number wins. Set this on the wired and wireless so the wired always wins.
