  If you're worried about the security of your data-link layer,
Ethernet is not for you.  DHCP is the least of your problems.

  (Well, maybe with the NAC stuff it would be good.  Haven't had a
chance to look at that stuff myself, yet.  Seems like a good idea in
theory.)
