  I go with Ethernet.  I'm not the guy who was saying DHCP seems so
insecure.  ;-)

  Snide remarks aside, using DHCP to manage statically-allocated IP
addresses is certainly a common technique.  Especially if you have to
renumber.  In larger networks, I imagine it's a must.
