No, LCR is gone. This implies multiple servers. Your scenario you would do RAID 
across SATA disks.

  Does that assume multiple servers?  Even if I can have a single
server with the realtime copy on one physical disk and the lagged copy
on the other, I don't see an advantage over the same two disks
mirrored in real-time.
