  Exactly.

  The specifications just tell you the temperature above which the
equipment will not *operate*[1].

  It's generally accepted that for computers, cooler == better, within reason.

[1] Or at least, if it doesn't operate, it's not manufacture's
problem; if it does, you're taking your chances.
