Jim,

Any Anti-Virus running on it, if so what kind, any errors in the event logs, and you mention it is in a domain any policies that may be preventing this, is it in a separate OU than the other systems.

Good question, whenever we find the issue it will be something simple I missed. But this is Enterprise 7 and it is joined to the domain.

Just to be sure.
This is the version of Vista that can talk to the network and join a domain.
The only reason I ask is there were a few versions there that could not do
that and don't want to overlook the obvious.

Saw those just a bit ago. They are all enabled and started, netbios over
tcp/ip is also enabled. Yep,
I have an everyone full control folder shared and cannot even hit that
directly. Tried by IP address
also. For now Windows Firewall is disabled.

Jim,

Check that the following services are started:

Workstation, DHCP Client, DNS Client, Server, TCP/IP Netbios helper,
Computer Browser.

Have you tried to create a share on the system to see if you can browse it
then, also try enabling NETBIOS over TCP/IP

HTH,
