Shame, as in my not so humble opinion, the CF bulbs don't live up to hype ( literally ) ... I've had CF's 'burn out' within a year or two, and not the 5 + years their packaging claimed ... And they don't work well in a cold environment ( garage, cold bathroom in the winter, etc as they take a while to get to proper brightness .. I want to flip the switch and have LIGHT !!!
Hopefully the cost of distribution and manufacture will be worked out a few years to replace CF bulbs with household LED .. They're even more energy efficient, almost no heat at all, and much better longevity ...
