I just ran into a similar (but not exact) problem with an office 2007 installation. Any word/excel doc would toss macro errors. Ended up doing a "change" install on office but added VBA and all the converters. That fixed it.
Might not apply to your issue, but since it wasn't really documented and is non-intuitive, it might be worth a try. *********************** Charlie Kaiser charl...@golden-eagle.org Kingman, AZ *********************** > -----Original Message----- > From: Robert Jackson [mailto:r...@walkermartyn.co.uk] > Sent: Tuesday, September 22, 2009 2:36 AM > To: NT System Admin Issues > Subject: RE: MS Excel 2003 Security Issue > > Bit more detail to add. > > Take the Excel 2003 spreadsheet and pop it on a Windows 2000 > server, change the Macro Security to "Medium" and everything is fine. > > Do the same thing under Windows 2003 server and the issues > are still there. > I've tried to generate a self certificate and apply that to > the VBA project contained in the spreadsheet, but this > doesn't work either. > > Any ideas? > > > > Regards, > Rab. > =========================================================== > Robert Jackson Phone: +44 (0) 141 332 > 7999 > Software Engineer Fax: +44 > (0) 141 331 > 2820 > Walker Martyn Ltd > 1 Park Circus Place Email: > r...@walkermartyn.co.uk > Glasgow G3 6AH, Scotland Web: > http://www.walkermartyn.co.uk > =========================================================== > > -----Original Message----- > From: Charlie Kaiser [mailto:charl...@golden-eagle.org] > Sent: Friday September 2009 14:13 > To: NT System Admin Issues > Subject: RE: MS Excel 2003 Security Issue > > A few things... > First, you might have to change the setting twice.
