On the other hand, the DIGI Serial + modem IP device we got worked from Day one and has been working for over 2 years, we bought the one that had an embedded modem and 3 IP to serial ports. Have had no issues running under VMware. Not for modems specifically but for communications with other devices. Been rock solid so far.
