You are correct... perhaps my client meant free updates for the life
of the version. :-) Anyway, as you say, not my problem, it's the
problem of whoever gets the laptops after I ship 'em back to my
client. :-) Oh, and he accepted my bid of $450. I might be low-balling
it a bit, but hey... it's only a little bit of my time and it's extra
money. :-)
I told the client it would be a "base" of $450 and if I ran into any
complicatoins, I'd bill him for additional time at my normal rate.
Hopefully we'll have no complications and he'll be wanting to do more
business with me in the future. :-)
