Agreed!  However, the battery cover does not like to stay on anymore. 
There is a silicone "sleeve" that came with it I now use to keep from 
losing the cover.

As to replacing this Creative device, again, I don't like ear (whatevers). 
 I especially don't like the cord snagging on seemingly smooth surfaces 
any time I move.  The main thing, though, is I refuse to "upgrade" to 
something that does not run on a cheap, easily replaced battery!
