If you have Costco's in your area, they usually have 1 or 2 good (fairly cheap) deals. I almost bought an HP dual-core, 4GB RAM, Win 7 laptop there last week ($499), but decided on a Netbook instead. Just needed something to couch-surf/e-mail and take with me once in awhile when I don't need my laptop.

Anyone have a favorite web site to help select a laptop or can recommend one that meets these specs. Specs. 15 to 16 inch led backlit screen. 4 gig ram min. 250 gig hard drive min. Needs modem, lan and wifi networking. At least and Intel core 2 duo 6500 or better cpu. Equivalent AMD cpu would be ok. Windows 7 home os. 3 hour battery life min. Web cam not required but would take it if it is included. Thanks for any suggestions. ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
