Most likely you only created your account as c.house...@gmail.com, and
there really is no mailbox chouse...@gmail.com

Here's the rest of the story: Google has stated (search through their
help and blogs, I don't remember exactly where I saw it, but it *was*
in Google) that if you have a mailbox that has a '.' in the middle of
it, they will deliver mail to that mailbox if it's missing the '.'!

So, mail addressed to both/either kurt.b...@gmail.com and
kurtb...@gmail.com are supposed to reach the same mailbox.
