But still. A crew was adding cables nearby our office and their cherry picker got caught on the box that housed the fiber ring which services our downtown, and ripped it open. The truck seen in the pictures is from the Telecom repair team. They got there fast and were already working on it when we took the pictures. But when it rains it pours. So we lost our Time Warner Gig pipe, and on top 6 PRI Phone circuits, 1 FIOS internet connection and about 30 minutes ago we lost our Level 3 10 meg pipe. So we were 3 for 3 with internet services going down for a little while there.
