I've got a user who started getting the above error message today. Friday I installed a second HDD in his computer, and moved his profile to that location. Today, he's getting that error. I tried editing the registry to tell Windows to use his original profile, but it didn't help. L
User *is* an admin, for what it's worth. I've tried removing the c:\program files\common files\office 12\mso.dll file, but that didn't help. I've tried repairing the install and that did not help. The only thing I can see is that the user is still on XP SP2, so I'm going to install some critical updates and then install SP3 and try a fresh install of Office 2007 and see if that helps.
