In my discussions with Malwarebytes, they have indicated that they are ok with the use of Malwarebytes in a commercial environment for a "one-time use to clean an infected system" -- at least as it regards the website vipre.malwarebytes.org.
However, you're correct, the Malwarebytes business model is to have a free version and charge for corporate/business customers. It should ultimately be purchased.
