I don't know LanGuard, but several vendors have built on top of the WSUS platform in order to support third party patching. Microsoft does it itself with the System Center Configuration Manager product.
Putting together a patch for inclusion by WSUS isn't tough to do when you have the support software to do it. :) Regards, Michael B. I'm a little unclear on the Windows updates part of LanGuard's capability. On one hand, it says it does deploy windows updates but on the other hand it says it's supposed to be used in conjunction with WSUS.
