I'd like to know how they deliver third-party patches, or whether that is left up to the administrator.
That used to be the major advantage some third-party applications provided (such as Shavlik). Their people kept up with the patches coming out from other vendors and would either package them for you, or give you an automated way to package them and then push them out. Regards, Michael B. I'm a little unclear on the Windows updates part of LanGuard's capability. On one hand, it says it does deploy windows updates but on the other hand it says it's supposed to be used in conjunction with WSUS.
