It also has the dset and online diags on it but you can configure a network interface and SSH the system, so you can run things remotely. I can't remember the details, but a firmware and OpenManage upgrade later, my "failed drive" was back up and running. I can't remember the details because it was 2-3 years ago. This was a 2550 which whose service contract had run out like 3 years previously. Despite the bad press Dell sometimes gets in this forum, the techs are only concerned with whether or not they can get your server back up and running, not whether or not you have a valid support contract. (Parts, however, would be a different matter...)
