You can order a little USB wizmo from eBay or similar - the IR tuner receiver package from MS except it comes with two IR outputs with little sticky bugs you can put on set top boxes if you want MCE to auto-tune the STB. I sent my STB back to Comcast, personally. I use Netflix and Amazon Prime on-demand - no need to pay Comcast $10/mo to rent a box with the same capabilities.
