Can't you segment it, such as firewall off all but for example SIP ports if 
it's a sip based setup?

How big of  deal would it be to you guys if you re-realized you have 4 Windows 
2000 servers on your network - not file/print, but stuff that supports the 
phone system. I see big security hole, but not sure how hard to pitch "we 
really need to get those off our wire".
