In our case I can't do much, we have an official computer use policy but it's 
not enforced. The only reason we are managing action on this particular one 
because AV picked up the tools in a .ZIP file.

Maiming or death? I want to work for you - a place that takes that stuff 
seriously.

What does your employee handbook and/or security policy say?

Ours allows disciplinary action for such an offense, up to and including 
maiming or death.
