That's one of the many bugs that would potentially be fixed if miBoot were to become the community-maintained project I proposed. It need not be limited to the community of this project, since miBoot is also for OldWorld PCI machines. > Where do you know from that Jeff Carr's version doesn't work with PDM > machines? I only looked at the partition table created by Discribe, and the special tricks to comply with the Mac OS ROM's boot code were botched. > I'm not sure whether Discribe is responsible for the partition table as > I have created the latest ISOs using MacOS X 10.3 Disc Utility. Here is my attempt at an ISO: http://homepage.mac.com/danielg4/my-miBoot-test.iso I created it under 10.3.9 by putting the files into a folder and issuing the following command: hdiutil create -srcfolder my\ miBoot\ test my-miBoot-test -fs HFS -nouuid -layout "UNIVERSAL CD" -format UDTO After that, the resulting file needed to be patched for partition flags, boot blocks, and possibly boot folder identification. > I'm using Discribe because it is (maybe) the only CD mastering software > that recognizes the PB1400 media bay.
