For me and most, if not all others on this mailing list ebay is a
market place where you can get nearly everything.
I don't know if you have any possibility of getting registered there.

About three years ago I used redhat 7.0 on my pc laptop with 16 mb of
ram, and now it has 32 mb and running sarge...
So I supopsed that it should be posible to instaqll linux on 16 mb
laptop, but 8 mb is really quite low
